ElaborationSus`hruta describes four types of Snaayu: This is a slender structure in body, which is useful to bind various organs in the body. It facilitates various movements of body parts especially joints by providing an anchor to the muscles and to the bones.

2. Vritta – Circular or annular structures
3. Prithu – Broad
4. Sthoola – Thick
