ElaborationSus`hruta describes six main parts ( Shad`anga ) of human body viz. 4 S`haakha ( four extrimites ), Madhya – Antaraadhi ( trunk ) and S`hira ( head ).
Shad`anga comprises the following body parts:
Mastaka ( head ), Udara ( abdomen ), Prisht`ha ( back ), Naabhi ( umbilicus ), Lalaat`a ( forehead ), Naasa ( nose ), Chibuka ( chin ), Basti ( bladder ), Greevaa ( neck ). They are all one in number.

Ears, eyes, eyebrows, S`hankha ( temporal ), Scapula, Axillae, breast, Vrishan`a ( testis ), elbows etc.
