Implied MeaningThis is one of the twenty attributes. It indicates a state of fluidity of the substances at all times.
ElaborationIt is the attribute of Jala Mahaabhoota . It is an attribute of Kapha and Pitta both. Hence depending upon the associated entity it exhibits a range of actions. It is capable of moistening the substance in contact. It is also capable of diffusion hence it can spread evenly to form a file on any surface. It maintains the fluid balance and level in the internal environment.
Rasa, Rakta, Mootra, Sveda are always fluid as well as lymph This is essential for circulation of Rasa, Rakta, Dosha, Kleda, and Sveda etc. It facilitates formation and passage of these ingredients.
