Literary MeaningHelpful for oleation
Implied MeaningSubstances useful for oleation action are called Snehopagaani. Substances that help in achieving oleation easily and completely are Snehopagaani . They create an environment that is conducive to liquefaction of the Dosha.
ElaborationThese substances have predominance of Prithvee and Aapa Mahaabhoota. They tend to liquefy the vitiated Dosha.
The loosened and liquefied Dosha reach the Kosht`ha ( abdomen ) and are eliminated via the nearest path.
