ElaborationDaurgandhya means faul smelling. It may be associated with body or any particular body organ like mouth, vagina etc. In such cases aromatic drugs like Jaateephala ( Myristica fragrans ), Karpoora ( Camphora ), Kankola ( Piper cubeba Linn. F .), Patra ( Cinnamomum tamala Nees & Eberm .), Ambu ( Cyperus rotendus ), Lodhra ( Symplocos racemosa Roxb .), Chandana ( Santalum album ) should be used.
Line of treatment changes according to site of manifestation.
Body odour ( Bad smell of sweat ): Snaana, Udvartana
Halitosis ( Bad Breath ): Gan`d`oohsha ( Gargles ), Taabula Sevana
Foul smell of Vagina: Yoni Dhoopana, Yoni Dhaavana
