Elaboration | This treatment is given immediately after poisoning. The way of S`hodhana ( cleansing action ) depends on where the poison is reached. When poison is in stomach, then patient is given medicines like Madanaphala along with rice, curds etc. This causes emesis and helps to get rid of the poison. When the poison is present in intestines, then patient is given purgative like Neelineephalam along with ghee. This helps to eliminate the poison from the body. |
