| Elaboration | Ushn`a attribute increases Pitta while S`heeta Gun`a increases Kapha and Vaata . With the help of hot attribute Paachaka Pitta and Agni are capable of digesting the consumed food. This attribute reduces fluidity of Dhaatu and causes their depletion. Since hot attribute is inductive to S`hodhana it facilitates excretion of faces, urine and sweat. Excessive effect of it causes fainting, giddiness, excessive thirst and burning sensation.
