Elaboration | All the substances can be classified into three broad categories viz. S`hamana ( pacifying, palliating ), Kopana ( irritating, aggravating ) and Svasthavritti Hitam ( promotive and preventive, maintaining health ). The healthy state of body is dependent upon the equilibrium of Dosha , Dhaatu and Mala , which support and maintain normal functions of all body constituents. The general indications of Svasthahita Dravya are described in Ritucharyaa ( Chapter of Regime as par season ). The substances, which are described as Rasaayana ( rejuvenator ), should be considered as Svasthahita Dravya ( A. H Su. 1 / 16 Arun`adatta ).
