Classical Description | Although there is considerable confusion in the correct identification of the different varieties of Kamala and Kumuda and the names given to them in the literature, Utapala is considered to be another name for Kumuda/Kamala. Dahln`a identified it as Neelotpala.Flowers as well as leaves of Utpala are used as external medicine in Daaha in Raktapitta. |
