Elaboration | This attribute has a capacity to absorb the aqueous content of the body constituents. It aggravates Vaata Dosha and reduces Kapha by nullifying the Snigdha Gun`a ( unctuous attribute ) of Kapha . Rookshan`a action is achieved with the help of Rooksha attribute. This is necessary to reduce excessive unctuousness of Kapha Dosha , and Meda Dhaatu . It is mainly effective in अतिसार ( diarrhoea ) as it causes Stambhana of Mala ( waste products ). |
