This science of life has no beginning, and it deals with things, which are inherent in nature. Such natural manifestation is eternal. E. g. Habitual intake of heavy things increases heavy constituents and decreases light ones in the body. Various fundamentals of Ayurveda are unchanged even in the current era of advanced technology. Hence these are Nitya .
Entities which are ephemeral, short – lived are termed as Anitya .
