Elaboration | It is heavy and strength promoting. It should be taken only in small quantity. Yava Chippit`a is pressed barley. It creates gaseous dissention after consumption. Prithuka , if prepared without frying is laxative in action. Prithuka is heavy to digest and is unctuous, and heavy. It also strengthens body components ( Brimhan`a ). If it is consumed with milk, it alleviates Vaata and acts as a laxative. ( S. Su. 46 / 415 ). |
