| Elaboration | These medicines perform Paachana ( digestion ) of Aama. These substances have dominant Agni and Vaayu Mahabhoota . They are mostly bitter, spicy, sour or salty in taste. These substances do not exhibit effect of Agni they mainly convert the partially or undigested Aama only.
